Terms of Service
By using Chppr ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Accounts and authentication
You may create or access an account using Google, Discord, X / Twitter, or email when those methods are available. You are responsible for maintaining access to your authentication method and for activity performed through your account.
Selecting an authentication method and continuing means you agree to the version of these Terms and the Privacy Policy linked from the authentication screen. Chppr records the accepted version, time, and authentication source for your account.
Use of the Service
Chppr is a free tool for personal and creative use. You may use it to chop audio, build beats, and share your projects. You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Your content and copyright
You retain ownership of any audio you upload or create with the Service. However, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and share any audio content you publish.
Do not publish audio that you do not have the right to distribute. This includes samples from commercial sample packs, subscription services, or any other source that restricts redistribution. By publishing a project, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to the audio included.
Published projects
When you publish a project, it becomes publicly accessible via its share URL. Anyone with the link can load and interact with it. You can update your published project at any time, but you cannot restrict access to an existing share URL once it has been distributed.
Data retention
Beat Cards published without signing in (guest cards) are automatically deleted 30 days after their last update. Beat Cards published from a signed-in account are retained without a fixed expiration.
We may change these retention terms as needed for storage operations, and will give notice before any change takes effect.
Account termination
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend access without notice if a user violates these terms.
Service availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of access to published projects, or any other damages arising from use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will show the effective date of the current version and may require acceptance of updated terms during a future authentication flow.
