About Chppr
A free, browser-based chop sampler and beat maker. Built for producers who want to slice, play and arrange audio without launching a DAW.
Chppr is an online audio sampler that runs entirely in your web browser. It is not a desktop application, not a mobile app, and not a hardware emulator — it is a working tool designed for producers who want to chop a sample, lay it out on pads, and build a beat in a few minutes.
No install. No signup. No fee. Drop any audio, chop it, play it.
How it works
- Add a source. Upload an audio file, record from your microphone, or load one of the built-in sample beats.
- Chop. Split the audio into slices automatically with auto-detect, or manually on the waveform.
- Play. Tap the 16-pad MPC-style layout to trigger each slice.
- Build patterns. Program beats on the 4-track step sequencer.
- Arrange. Chain patterns into a full song with BeatArc.
- Export or share. Download WAV slices, export a DAW project, or send a share link.
What makes Chppr different
- Browser-based. Works on any device with Chrome, Edge, or Safari. No install needed.
- Free, no signup. Try it without commitment. Sign in only when you want to save or share.
- Non-destructive slicing. Adjust slice points on the waveform anytime without re-uploading.
- Key Sync. Pitch each pad to fit a musical key using the Circle of Fifths.
- Mobile-friendly. Sketch ideas on iPad or iPhone, finish on desktop.
- WAV and DAW export. Take your work into Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic, or any DAW.
- Share by link. Send your project as a URL. The receiver opens it in their browser instantly.
Who it is for
Music producers who want to chop ideas quickly without launching a DAW. Beat makers sketching on mobile. People curious about the sampler workflow but unsure where to start. Anyone who has opened a sample pack and wished there was a faster way to flip it.
If you are looking for a hardware sampler (Akai MPC, Roland SP series, etc.) or a virtual instrument plugin, Chppr is not that. Chppr is a web tool — instant access, zero setup, designed to get you from "I have an idea" to "I have a beat" in minutes.
